Situation
This client was utilizing a variety of software solutions to help manage their biospecimens and their studies. Because of this, the institution was experiencing inefficiencies in managing their biospecimens and the sharing of data and information associated with these biosamples.
In order to increase efficiency and the accessibility of critical study and biospecimen information, the institution sought to centralize their biosample and biosample data in their LabVantage LIMS solution.
However, it quickly became apparent that migrating the information and data from the multiple systems that stored this information to LabVantage LIMS was not a trivial undertaking. In fact, the project was losing momentum since it was taking months to migrate a single study, which was not acceptable. The institution decided to engage CSols, Inc., a LabVantage partner, and laboratory informatics expert, to support their migration effort.
